The game concept revolves around the GameDevjs jam's theme of "Time," where Time Rush emphasizes that time is the ultimate currency. Every aspect of the game, including ammunition, health terminals, and the timer, are all interconnected, and using any of them consumes time while providing a beneficial outcome. Whether it be replenishing ammo for your weapons, repairing your level, or unlocking the portal at the end of each level, each action requires a careful balance of time management to progress through the game.

Like most games, Time Rush offers a variety of pickups to help players heal and protect themselves. Throughout the levels, you will come across time Orbs that heal your timer by five units, thereby also healing yourself. With these pickups at your disposal, you can carefully strategize and maneuver through each level, minimizing the damage taken while optimizing your use of time to progress through the game.

What's new in Time Rush 0.0.2? This enhanced version of the game takes it to the next level, introducing a range of exciting features. Players will now have access to a diverse selection of characters, customizable options, and a skill tree offering a wide array of abilities. By carefully selecting skills from the main base, players can strategize and explore the unique advantages and disadvantages associated with each skill.

The shield ability has undergone a comprehensive rework, and, in fact, all abilities within the game have been revamped. Each ability now features a distinct cooldown timer, necessitating thoughtful consideration before deploying them strategically.

In addition, I am enhancing the visual aesthetics of Time Rush by incorporating intricate level details, refined water physics, and implementing advanced lighting techniques. While I'm continuously striving to improve the enemy AI, I acknowledge that creating compelling enemies and bosses is an area I am actively developing my skills in.
